I want to get REAL with you for a minute today.
Do you feel like you’re almost always lacking productivity?
You start your day with a goal or agenda in mind…
But as the day kicks in, you find yourself getting distracted and losing focus of where the day is headed.
You feel a sudden energy drain and decide to take a nap or watch Netflix.
And then you find yourself complaining about not having enough hours in a day.
If this sounds even a little bit like you, we need to start planning on how to get your productivity levels up.
Look, productivity doesn’t happen by accident.
It all comes down to managing your time, energy and focus in an effective way.
- Manage Your Time by working on the tasks of highest priority first.
- Manage Your Focus by tuning out all the distractions. Do one thing at a time.
- Manage Your Energy by keeping yourself driven to finish the task. You could do it by deciding to give yourself a little reward after finishing the task.
While all of the above is absolutely 100% true.
I have a better and a quicker process that I have been following for years that allows me to stay productive.
Want to guess what that is???
That’s right… I MEDITATE.
Meditation is a simple, effective method that can help you to improve your productivity.
If you are completely relaxed and stress-free, then your mind will also work more effectively.
It might sound bizarre that you can improve your productivity just by sitting quietly and alone, but it’s true.
The most surprising fact is that this short time will improve your entire day.
You maybe asking ‘how’?
The research is clear: meditation improves virtually every aspect of how we manage our attention.
One primary reason is because the activity increases our working memory capacity—how much information we can mentally hold and process at any one time.
A larger working memory means we can think about more in each moment, take on more complex tasks, and process our work and life more deeply.
And I want to make it easier for people to meditate the right way and help them become more productive.
I hope you have found this helpful.
Kindest,
Carolyne xx
